WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO GET YOUR CHILD STARTED
From The Heart Music will demonstrate various instruments at a assembly held at your school. This demonstration allows your child to be able to identify each instrument, become familiar with its sound, and realize the role it plays in a group setting. This assembly also allows your child to choose what instrument him or her is interested in learning.

CLASS PIANO
This program can be offered to students of any grade. The materials used are of the highest educational quality and provide a student with a strong fundamental foundation covering notation, rhythm and an overall understanding of the keyboard instrument. Each student is provided with a keyboard during class, however it is recommended that they have access to a piano or keyboard for home practice as well. Students in class piano receive one lesson each week for a period of thirty minutes.
BAND INSTRUCTION
Band instruction is available to students in grade four or higher on brass, woodwinds, or percussion. Classes cover elements of instrumental instruction such as instrument care, tone production, music notation, rhythm, as well as understanding of musical expression and style. Students must provide their own instrument. Lessons on band instrument are given once a week for a period of thirty minutes.
GUITAR AND BASS
Guitar and Bass instruction are available to students in grade four or higher. This program is designed to introduce your child to music and the guitar and bass. The materials used are of the highest educational quality and provide a student with strong fundamental foundation covering notation, rhythm, and an overall understanding of the instrument. Students in the guitar and bass program receive one lesson each week for a period of thirty minutes. Student must provide their own instrument.
CONCERTS
Concerts are scheduled at least two times a year for both piano and band classes. This provides immediate goals for your child to achieve.
